Michigan is a perfect location to take snowy engagement photos. Generally in the beginning of February, or end of January, we get a major snow storm. Take advantage of that snow dump and have your engagement photos done! Most couples don’t want to take them in the winter because, let’s face it, its COLD. They aren’t totally wrong on that. Sometimes they aren’t 100% fun when its cold outside, but snowy engagement photos can be some of the most beautiful photos you will ever take.
Shelby and Alec chose Stony Creek Metropark as the backdrop to their winter engagement session. They even brought their adorable Chocolate Lab with them (by the way, I love dogs in photos!) Parts of the park allow pets and other parts do not. If you decide to bring your pup along let me know before hand, that way we can prepare our locations properly!
